Attended The CIANJ’s Forum On Alternative Sources of Working Capital
I had the pleasure of attending the Alternative Sources of Working Capital forum hosted by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) on Wednesday, July 26th at the Saddle Brook Marriott.
The meeting opened with CIANJ President, Tony Russo giving a Legislative Update informing us about current Government legislation and their affects on NJ businesses as well as on CIANJ’s efforts to spur economic growth by working with State Legislators on our behalf. Todd Galante, Principal at Piro Zinna Cifelli Paris & Genitempo, LLC gave the opening remarks.
The forum was moderated by Nicholas Jalowski, Managing Director of Cambridge Financial Services LLC. The expert panel and guest speakers were:
- Vince Grillo, Senior Vice President, Access Capital
- Michael Banasiak, Managing Director, Liquid Capital Express
- John Mullane, Managing Director, Procida Funding & Advisors
- Robert Koar, Senior Managing Director, Sterling National Bank
Each of the panelist spoke about his area of expertise and gave detailed information to those in attendance on the different types of alternative funding small businesses can seek when traditional sources are not available.
Nothing was held back as the attendees “peeled back the onion”, asking really great questions for the benefit of the entire group. Each question was answered in detail by members of the expert panel.
The great thing about all CIANJ forums, and this one in particular, is the quality of the presenters. They are all experts in their field and each forum is designed to give high-value information.
If you’ve never attended a CIANJ forum—you should. As a matter of fact, if your company does business in New Jersey then you should seriously consider joining the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey. In my opinion, the CIANJ is the premier business association for the State.
